Disk Space Limit Exceeded

If you receive a warning that you are approaching the limit of the disk space allocated to your account you will need to take immediate action to ensure that your account continues to operate without errors. Once you exceed the disk space allocated to your account your website(s) and services such as email may not function correctly.

Please note that if you exceed the allocated disk space you will be billed for these "overages" on your next invoice.

Our systems will attempt to contact you via email and warn you when your disk space has reached 80%, 90% and then 98% of your allocation. You can either:

1. Upgrade your Website Hosting plan, following the instructions contained in the Knowledgebase article: Can I upgrade my web hosting plan?

or

2. Remove content from your cPanel account. This can be a mixture of website files, stored emails, databases and home directory backups. More details can be found at How to free up more disk space.

Where can I see my current disk space usage?
Your disk space usage is shown in your cPanel, on the right of the main page when you log in. You can see a more detailed breakdown under the "Files" section by selecting the "Disk Usage" icon.
