Within cPanel you can see the particular Pay Monthly Hosting plan resources that are allocated to your particular account.
These are listed on the right hand side of the display under "Statistics".
Here you can see both the limits allowed within your plan and the current usage for:
- Disk Space Usage
- Monthly Bandwidth Transfer
- Email Accounts
- Subdomains
- Parked Domains
- Addon Domains
- FTP Accounts
- MySQL Databases
along with other information related to your hosting plan.
This is particularly relevant if you have received a Disk Usage Warning or a Bandwidth Limit Warning.
To see a more detailed breakdown for each of these aspects of your cPanel hosting account you need to click on the headings that are hyperlinked (i.e. in blue):
e.g. "Disk Usage" will show you where your files are stored and "Bandwidth" will show a breakdown of your domain traffic.
We limit these resources by plan to ensure that we are delivering the speed and server performance required for your website hosting.
If you wish to see what server resources are allocated to your individual cPanel account under CloudLinux please view the following Knowledgebase article: Resources (Limits and Uses) - Server
This ensures that the server load is balanced across all users and that one account is not affecting the service provided to other websites.
Other website hosting providers may promise to offer unlimited hosting and resources but typically their resource allocation, performance and level of service is so poor that your website literally "crawls" along.
If you are approaching your account limits you can always upgrade your plan following the instructions contained in the Knowledgebase article: Can I upgrade my web hosting plan?
