How to download a Partial Backup

If you only want to make a backup of your Home Directory or MySQL databases or Email Forwarders and Filters you can use the Partial Backup feature of cPanel.

To download a Partial Backup:

  1. In the "Files" section of your cPanel click "Backup"
  2. Under "Partial Backups" select which part of your site you would like to download
  3. As the download starts you will be prompted to select a destination to save the file on your computer
  4. Click "Save"
Alternatively, you can select the "Backup Wizard" icon within the "Files" section which will guide you through the process.
